We are sorry to hear about your camera. Unfortunately, damage due to battery leakage isn’t covered under warranty. However, I would get in touch with your battery manufacturer as they may pay to replace or fix your camera. I have provided a few battery manufactures and their information on warranties below. (Their Warranties can change without notice.) You should be able to find additional customer service information on their web site.

If this isn’t feasible you might try and clean the terminals. Please be very careful when doing this be sure to use gloves and eyewear. Don’t let any of it go down into the camera. Use only a Q-tip with a little of the solution. There are several websites that tell you how to do this. Here is a link I found that may help: http://cleaning.lovetoknow.com/Clean_Alkaline_Battery_Corrosion
