Why do my apple products cut off the edges of my photos?
- cut the edges off my photos
- I have to go into edit mode to view my whole picture.
Nothing is wrong with your apple product this was an Apple design decision.
Upgrading apple firmware will also not help.
Easy way to explain this: Apple product are designed just like televisions, they take images and modify them from the original size to fit the screen.
Click the “edit mode” to see the whole picture. (Original size)
You can just quickly zoom in and out (two quick double taps) and the image will zoom all the way out, showing everything, black bars and all.
Moultrie cameras take photos and videos in landscape format. (This feature is not adjustable)
Displaying in landscape and portrait mode on apple products
-Remember that photos, web pages, and applications will not change viewing-orientation modes when apple products are lying flat. Hold your apple product vertically to switch between portrait and landscape modes or vice versa.
-Verify that rotation lock is not on.
-Note: Certain apps and features may support only one mode, landscape or portrait. For example, the Videos app plays video in landscape mode, and Reminders uses only portrait mode. Not all applications on iPhone use landscape mode.
Moultrie products from 2014 and older may view fine on the apple products. Any products from 2015 and newer you may have to click edit or double tap to see full images.
